Okay, I guess I will actually write something.
I have the awesome and challenging privilege of being on staff for our youth ministry (One28) at church. This year our theme is - Look Only to Christ. What an awesome theme! I have already been thinking about it a ton because it is very easy to look to so many other things to find meaning and fulfillment. I don't know why I look to the things of the world because the happiness found there NEVER lasts. Which ties into Sunday mornings in One28, we have been going through Ecclesiastes. I encourage everyone to read that book of the Bible often. How easy it is to forget that anything apart from God is vanity! Grasping after Wind - have you ever tried that? It doesn't work - and yet we do it over and over! Looking only to Christ causes the things of the world to fade away. I am definitely ready for that!

The battle is to discipline my mind to get to the point where I look only to Christ. I am amazed at how often I can go through an entire day and hardly look to Christ at all, much less look only to Him! The Israelites certainly had a good idea when they started literally putting the word of God on their arms, doors and foreheads! Thanks for the reminder, Sarah!
Hopefully we can put the Word in our hearts so it overflows our lips, and guides our hands and feet, oh, and our eyes.
Hi My Bunk,
I have to be anonymous because none of my moron family will teach me how to be a real blogger. But I have to say that I love you so much and love to hear what the Lord is teaching you. I love passages like Job where we can look at his life and see what he was thinking and how he responded to the Lord in the midst of great pain. I love you Bunk! Moma
I am very thankful you are part of the One28 staff. You are such a sweet gal and I love ya. I will look forward to more bloggage!
